European Journal of Neuroscience Online
As a member of the BNA, you are entitled to FREE access to the online edition of European Journal of Neuroscience. EJN is the official journal of FENS, the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, and is one of the leading broad spectrum neuroscience journals in the world. The Journal is now publishing twice a month, and has now introduced a web-based submission and refereeing system. All of these initiatives will mean that submission to publication times should be significantly decreased.
Here are some of the benefits reading the Journal online, via Synergy, can bring:

- PDF version of the article for printing
- search for articles by the same authors
- thumbnails of figures and tables expand to full size

Instructions for accessing EJN online
If you have not already registered for access, please follow these simple instructions to enable you to take advantage of your free online access to European Journal of Neuroscience. You only need to use your Offer Code once and you will then be able to access EJN online through Blackwell Synergy whenever you wish.
Step 1: If you have already registered on Blackwell Synergy
- Go to www.blackwell-synergy.com
- Enter your Username and Password at the top of the page.
- Click 'Login'.
- Your name will now appear at the top of the homepage and you can go straight to Step 3.
Step 2: If you are new to Blackwell Synergy, please register
- Go to www.blackwell-synergy.com
- Click on 'Register' at the top of the page.
- Complete the registration page (remembering your choice of Username and Password for later).
- Your name will now appear at the top of the homepage and you can go straight to Step 3.
Step 3: How to access the full-text of articles
- Click on the 'My Synergy' button at the top of the page.
- Click on the 'Access' tab.
- In the Offer Code box, enter your Offer Code: FENSUK. Click Continue.
- In the Last Name box, enter your last name
- In the Member ID box, enter your BNA membership number (BNA****). Click Continue.
- Your subscriptions will now be listed on the Journals tab. You can access your journal(s) from here or directly from the Synergy homepage.
And for next time you want to access EJN online...
- Go to www.blackwell-synergy.com
- Enter your Username and Password at the top of the page and click 'Login'.
- Select the journal you wish to access. You can choose to view just subscribed journals or all journals alphabetically or by subject, from the dropdown menu.
- Enjoy using EJN online!
