We are seeking three enthusiastic Lecturers / Senior Lecturers in Psychology to contribute to our inclusive academic community, and further strengthen our research and teaching. The successful candidates will demonstrate a research profile allied to our existing research strengths. We are particularly keen to recruit candidates with a background in Developmental Psychology, Critical Social/ Community Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience.

The role will involve teaching across the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula and in a variety of settings, including small-group workshops/seminars and large-group lectures; research supervision; assessment and feedback; and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students.  

 

Required qualifications, skills and experience

It is essential that candidates hold, or are near completion of, a doctoral level qualification. Successful candidates for Senior Lecturer posts will have a strong, established research profile in their field; for Lecturer posts, successful candidates will have developing research profile. Candidates will be able to teach across at least two core areas of the British Psychological Society curriculum, including contribution to the teaching of research methods.
