Assistant/Associate Professor in Molecular, Cellular or Systems Biology

The Biozentrum of the University of Basel in Switzerland invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship or a tenured associate professorship in molecular, cellular or systems biology. All candidates exploring fundamental questions in modern biology will be considered, ranging from the physics of life to the dynamics of multicellular systems.

Your position
The successful candidate will have an outstanding research record and strong communication skills, will complement and enhance the research portfolio of the Biozentrum as well as the broader Basel Life Sciences Community, and will contribute to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.

We are interested in candidates exploring fundamental questions in modern biology, ranging from the physics of life to the dynamics of multicellular systems.
