Based at the University’s flagship Hadyn Ellis Building, you will work as part of a team providing professional communications, marketing, events and engagement advice and support to the Division of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neurosciences, with primary responsibility for work relating to the National Centre for Mental Health. The Division hosts a range of successful and innovative entities in addition to the National Centre for Mental Health, including the MRC Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics (CNGG), the Wolfson Centre, the Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute (NMHRI) and the Brain Repair and Intracranial Therapeutics Unit (BRAIN).
You should have a strong background in communications, marketing, events and/or engagement and be able to demonstrate experience of working in two or more of the following areas: digital and/or social media; media/press releases; website development and/or management; event planning and production; internal communications. Your experience and innovative approach to work will be enhanced by your demonstrable organisational and customer service skills and an interest in, or understanding of, the areas of mental health and neuroscience is highly desirable.
