CONSULTANT IN NEUROLOGY

The Department of Neurology at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is an integral part of the wider Neurosciences Group which includes: Clinical Neurophysiology, Stroke Medicine, The Regional Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Centre, and Neuro -Rehabilitation services. 

The Department of Neurology delivers all elements of acute and elective care as follows: 

  • a number of outpatient services for patients with a variety of different general and specialist neurological conditions 
  • an inpatient in-reach service 
  • Day case and diagnostic procedures which are carried out in the Medical Infusion Unit (MIU) 
  • a weekly Neuro Radiology MDT
