We invite applications for a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher (MSC-ESR) Fellowship to work within the lab of Professor David Rubinsztein at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research (CIMR) .
The successful applicant will work in a research programme aiming to investigate the effects of autophagy in neuronal secretome and its role in neurodegeneration.
A Masters degree in a relevant discipline and a strong command of the English language (written and spoken) are required.
Prior experience in cell biology (trafficking or autophagy) and experience in the use of models of neurodegeneration are considered an advantage.
The Fellowship is offered in conjunction with a PhD position, subject to the Fellow satisfying the University's admission requirements of PhD study.
The Fellowship will provide a salary that includes a living allowance of around €40,000 p.a. plus a mobility allowance of around €6,400 p.a. as per the rules of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions-Innovative Training Networks.
