This post provides the opportunity for those with excellent academic potential to contribute to high quality research and teaching within the Department.

The primary teaching responsibility for this post lies within the Clinical Doctorate in Psychology programme and involves research supervision of doctoral students. You will also contribute to the teaching and research supervision of students at undergraduate and Master levels within the School.

You will contribute to raising levels of research activity, research income, teaching excellence and the overall visibility of the Department. You will develop a research programme within the broad areas of Psychology of Health and Psychological Wellbeing undertaking high quality individual and collaborative research in line with the Department’s aim of producing world-leading research with meaningful impact

About you

We are looking for a self-starter with a real passion for the subject matter, ensuring our students receive the very best possible experience. The successful applicant will be educated to doctoral level with experience of supporting doctoral psychology postgraduates and a commitment to learning and teaching. You will be an excellent researcher, with postgraduate research experience and the ability to contribute to the authorship of research papers, ideally with a track record of publications.
