About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic educator capable of inspiring interest, curiosity and drive for learning in our students. This post provides the opportunity for those with excellent academic potential to contribute to high quality teaching within the School of Psychology. You will deliver excellent student support, and will actively pursue innovation and enhancement in student learning and experience with a view to ensuring outstanding student satisfaction
The primary teaching responsibility for this post lies within the Clinical Doctorate in Psychology programme and involves research supervision of doctoral students. You will also contribute to the teaching and research supervision of students at undergraduate and Master levels within the School.
You will develop your own research program within the broad areas of Psychology of Health and Psychological Wellbeing in line with the research priorities of the Neuroscience, Psychology and Behaviour Department.
About you
With a doctoral level qualification in psychology or related discipline you will have experience of supporting doctoral psychology postgraduates, specifically in the acquisition and interpretation of data. You will have postdoctoral research experience, ideally with a track record of contributing to high quality publications.
We are looking for a self-starter with a real passion for the subject matter, ensuring our students receive the very best possible experience.
