We seek a proven researcher to contribute to our interdisciplinary impact-focused research, and innovative teaching. You will have research and teaching expertise in one or more of the following areas: Critical Psychology and Education; Mental Health and Education; Social Psychology; Educational Neuroscience; Therapeutics in Education. We are interested in developing our existing research on mental health and well-being in the city region, including working with young people, families and professionals in homes, communities, pre-school and school/FE settings.

You will have a good honours degree in Psychology, Education or a relevant subject area (Social Sciences, Social/Developmental Psychology) and a Doctorate in Psychology or a relevant subject area.

You will be able to teach research methods across our BA, MA, MSc programmes and will contribute to EdD and PhD teaching and supervision. You will have experience of, or interest in, using Digital Technologies in teaching in ways that help students to develop their digital literacies, which includes the potential development of online programmes.

You will have a publication record of papers in high quality peer reviewed journals, and in attracting external research funding. You must have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within the University and with external partners and organisations.
