2024 BNA Scholars announced
15th March 2024
The Psychology Department at the University of Exeter seeks to appoint to several open rank posts to join our team of exceptional scientists, educators, and clinicians, to conduct world-leading research aimed at tackling the big challenges facing society.
We welcome applications from any area of psychology, but we are particularly interested in recruiting individuals who conduct research relevant to wider university priorities of the climate emergency, mental health, healthy ageing and social justice. The individuals we are hoping to recruit will be able to bridge our existing research themes and groups, working beyond traditional boundaries within psychology.
For at least some of the posts, we particularly encourage applications from people with methodological expertise in cognitive/behavioural neuroscience, advanced data analytic techniques or computational modelling, to complement recent major investments at the University of Exeter such as the new MRI/PET facility and the Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Successful candidates will also help us to deliver an inclusive and innovative education to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as our numerous clinical-facing programmes including our clinical psychology doctorate, where appropriate.
At the Psychology Department at University of Exeter, we offer a supportive community where all colleagues can thrive and are treated with dignity and respect. The people we are seeking to recruit will demonstrate how they will enable us to maintain and develop this mission.
