The Department of Psychology at Lancaster University is on a path of substantial research expansion with a research building dedicated to behavioural testing across the lifespan, and specialised laboratories devoted to a range of neuroscience methodologies, psychopharmacological testing, sleep studies, auditory testing, interviewing and observation, motion capture, and virtual reality testing.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer (the equivalent of Assistant Professor). We welcome applications from candidates with strengths in adult cognition especially, but not limited to, expertise in moral cognition, social cognition as it relate to perspective taking and trust, working memory and attention, and/or cognition in applied contexts.
 
Depending on the specific research area, you will have a primary affiliation with one of the following research groups in the Department: Language and Literacy; Perception and Action; and Social Processes. You should have a track record of research and teaching excellence demonstrated by publications, research grant acquisition, socio-economic impact, and teaching experience, commensurate with stage of career.
