Dementia is the greatest health challenge of our century.

The UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) is the biggest UK initiative supporting research to fill this gap.

The UK DRI Headquarters team is based at UCL yet works across all six of the UK DRI host institutions. Collectively the HQ team is responsible for making the distributed UK DRI community function as a single institute, with a shared culture of intensely collaborative research.

The UK DRI HQ team is now looking to recruit an Office Manager to provide maternity cover from February 2020. The Office Manager is a key member of the HQ team, responsible for managing the office administration team and the coordination of activity between the UK DRI HQ and the seven research centres. This includes providing support to cross-UK DRI projects and programmes, delivery of large-scale events, conferences and workshops, providing operational support to the UK DRI leadership, and facilitating effective cross-communication between the UK DRI’s HQ team and geographically dispersed research centres.

The post is funded for one year. We would welcome applications from internal candidates interested in this as a secondment opportunity.
