The School of Psychology at the University of Nottingham is a research-led department, with research strengths in all areas of Psychology and an active cohort of over 50 doctoral students at any one time. We are currently seeking highly-motivated candidates for a Fully Funded School PhD Studentship in any research area in the School.
We have comprehensive state-of-the-art facilities for work in Psychology, including access to the world leading brain imaging facilities in the Sir Peter Mansfield Magnetic Resonance Centre. Research activity in the School is organised around research groupings in Visual Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, Behavioural Neuroscience, Perception and Action, Cognition and Language, Human Development and Learning and in Personality, Social Psychology and Health.

Candidates should have a good honours degree (at least 2:1 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. A Masters qualification is not required at the point of application, but a Masters in a relevant discipline would be an advantage. The studentship will offer a stipend of £14,777 and fees paid at the Home/EU rate (£4,260) for a period of three year subject to satisfactory progress.
The closing date for the School Studentship is 8th June 2018 to start in October 2018.
