Position Details

We are seeking a PhD candidate to join a research programme, led by Professor Yulia Timofeeva in collaboration with Professor Kirill Volynski (UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, London), that aims to develop and implement a computational modelling framework for studying the regulation of synaptic transmitter release in health and disease.  The programme runs in collaboration with a number of world-leading experimental laboratories working in the field of synaptic transmission and information processing in the brain.

Person Criteria

The successful candidate should have a background in applied mathematics/theoretical physics/computer science or related discipline and should have solid computational skills.
