The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £37,412 - £38,434 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for analysis of MR imaging data, and clinical measures acquired in this study. MRI data acquired as part of this study will include: T1-weighted & T2-weighted MRI; arterial spin labelling (ASL); functional MRI; susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI); quantitative susceptibility weighted imaging (QSM); diffusion tensor imaging (DTI); neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging (NODDI); and neuromelanin sensitive MRI. The post holder will be responsible for data organisation and management in compliance with regulations and guidelines. The post holder will write articles for publications and present data in national and international congresses.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) acquisition, experience in neuroimaging and analysis of MRI data, experience of computing (database handling, Matlab, Linux), experience with neuroimaging analysis software for MRI data and will be resourceful and able to act on own initiative.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 36 months.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent
