The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £37,412 to £40,568 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.

This 2-year post-doctoral position in the laboratory of Dr Matthew Grubb is funded by a Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council (ERC), and will investigate experience-dependent plasticity of sensory information processing in adult-born neurons. 

The Centre for Developmental Neurobiology is a world-leading centre in the field of developmental neuroscience and brain disorders, situated in central London.

We are seeking a bright, talented and self-motivated post-doctoral researcher to join our team. Candidates should have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in Neuroscience or closely-related discipline. They should have strong experience in the quantitative characterization of neuronal function, and a commitment to Open Science.  Experience with sensory physiology, functional imaging, electrophysiology and/or optogenetics are all desirable.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 2 years

This is a full-time post, 35 hours per week

The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
