Funded by a Wellcome Senior Investigator Award, and based in the internationally renowned multidisciplinary research environment of the BHF Centre for Cardiovascular Science within the Queen's Medical Research Institute, this 3-year post provides the opportunity for an ambitious post-doctoral biomedical scientist to carve out a research niche investigating novel modulators of glucocorticoid action in central (brain) and peripheral (skeletal muscle, bone) tissues. Applicants must have completed or be nearing completion of a productive PhD, and may have post-doctoral experience. The starting date is negotiable between November 2018 and March 2019.
