The Department of Psychology nurtures a vibrant research portfolio and positive learning culture in five areas: Social, Cognitive, Clinical, and Affective Neuroscience; Behaviour Change; Face Processing; Visual Cognition; Attention and Memory. We are looking for an enthusiastic Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience to join us at this exciting time.

Following an investment of £1.4m to purchase an MRI scanner for the new Institute of Medical Imaging and Visualisation, it is expected that the post holder will lead the Psychology Department's research in using these new facilities. At Faculty level there is expertise in psychiatric genetics and computational neuroscience and at departmental level, facilities supporting our teaching and research include mobile and static eye tracking, virtual environments, TMS, tDCS and an EEG laboratory.
