Applications are invited for the post of Reader/Professor in Clinical Health Psychology in the Department of Psychology (Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience [IoPPN], King’s College London) and INPUT pain service (Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust). This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior clinical academic with established research and clinical expertise to contribute to King’s Health Partners strategy for integrated care of physically ill patients and to lead the interdisciplinary team at INPUT pain service.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with an international reputation for research and clinical expertise in clinical health psychology and pain. The successful applicant’s track record will include publications in high-impact journals, significant success in obtaining research grants, experience managing and delivering clinical services to people with chronic pain and evidence of excellence in teaching including post graduate/doctoral supervision. The post holder will have a professional qualification in clinical psychology or health psychology conferring eligibility for registration with the HCPC. 

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract

This is a full-time position
