We are looking to recruit a research assistant to join the TIDES (Tackling Inequalities and Discrimination Experiences in health Services) study. The post will be based within the Department of Psychological Medicine, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at Denmark Hill. The primary responsibility of the post-holder will be to contribute to the development and evaluation of an immersive clinical virtual reality (VR) environment to investigate how bias influences behaviours and decision-making among healthcare practitioners.
The post-holder will have a strong interest in virtual reality and digital health and play a central role in the VR study, including contributing to the development of the VR environment, recruitment and data collection. The post-holder will also contribute to data cleaning, data entry, general administrative duties, public engagement related to this project and writing draft research papers.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent
The selection process will include a panel interview and a five-minute presentation on a relevant research topic.
