New expert-led consensus to shape the future of MND drug discovery and development research

We require a talented junior (MSc-level) researcher is required to work on an interdisciplinary project on human intrinsic rewards (e.g. curiosity), learning, and decision making using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) under the supervision of Dr. Kou Murayama. The role is a full-time, fixed-term contract from October 2018 (start date is negotiable) for 12 months.
The successful candidate will have a variety of duties including programming experiments, preparing study materials, and collecting and analysing fMRI data. There is possibility that the successful candidate can receive a fully-funded Ph.D. studentship after the term, and preference will be given to the candidates who showed motivation or intention to take that opportunity
You will have:
• A good experimental programming skills (e.g., Matlab)
• Sufficient experience to run participants in psychological or neuroimaging experiments
• Good academic track record
• A first degree in psychology or relevant areas
• Experience of neuroimaging (or relevant) data analysis
