We are pleased to offer the position for a full-time Research Associate, to work in the Li laboratory (Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute) supporting the project entitled "NSC Reconstruct",  funded by the European Commission within the framework provided by the Horizon 2020.

The successful candidate will conduct research to investigate cortical interneuron fate specification to advance regenerative medicine. A postgraduate degree at PhD level (or nearing completion / submission) in stem cell biology or neuroscience, and established expertise and proven portfolio of research and/or relevant industrial experience within Human PSC culture and neuronal differentiation and Genome editing of hPSCs using CRISPR/Cas9 technology.
   
This is a full time position, fixed term for 3 years.
 
Salary: £33,797 - £40,322 per annum (Grade 6).  Please note that it is not expected that we will appoint above grade 6.30, currently £33,797 per annum.
