New expert-led consensus to shape the future of MND drug discovery and development research

The Division of Psychological Medicine and Clinical Neurosciences seeks to appoint a postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research within the field of psychosis epidemiology on the MRC-funded Pathways to Psychosis project.
Working with skilled multidisciplinary teams in Cardiff University and the University of Bristol, the successful candidate will undertake analyses using a variety of advanced statistical methods including longitudinal modelling, latent class analysis and structural equation modelling. With a PhD in a relevant discipline such as epidemiology or medical statistics, you should have a high level of competency with statistical packages, including Strata or R, with experience of using multiple imputation to address the problem of missing data. Experience of using advanced statistical approaches to analyse longitudinal data is highly desirable, as is experience of longitudinal mixture modelling and latent growth modelling.
This post is full-time (35 hours), available immediately and fixed-term until 19 February 2020.
Salary: £33,199 - £39,609 per annum (Grade 6).
