Information about the role:

The NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London is seeking a postdoctoral statistical genetics researcher to implement translational research in mental health. 

The researcher will apply their skills in diverse studies including genome-wide association studies, multi-omic modelling for disease prognosis and prediction, and using polygenic risk scores for prognostic modelling. 

The post requires a flexible and dynamic postgraduate, who has trained in statistical genetics and has previous experience working on large scale data analysis from clinical studies. The postholder will interact with clinical and academic researchers, and join the Statistical Genetics Unit, a thriving research group, with over 20 members focused on methodology development and application in statistical genetics.
