We are seeking to appoint a driven and ambitious Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team working on an exciting 3 year project funded by the Medical Research Council. Our lab takes a multidisciplinary approach to the study of opioid addiction. The person appointed will be responsible for a project that seeks to determine why fentanyl, a common opioid drug of abuse especially in North America, is so deadly. The person appointed will be expected to carry out experimental work to examine how fentanyl and related drugs depress respiration.

Candidates should have or be working towards a PhD in Pharmacology, Physiology, Neuroscience or a related subject area.
