A position is available for a Post-doctoral Research Associate funded by a grant from the Leverhulme Trust awarded to Prof Anthony Isles and Prof Ros John (School of Biosciences, Cardiff University).
The position will investigate the contribution of maternally expressed imprinted genes to parental behaviour. The successful candidate will join an internationally renowned group combining molecular biology and neuroscience techniques to investigate the role of genomic imprinting in brain and behaviour.
Candidates should have a PhD and practical experience of genetic mouse models and behavioural neuroscience, and/or molecular biology and bioinformatics.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term for 3-years.
Salary: £33,797 - £40,322 per annum (Grade 6).
