Applications are invited for a Post-doctoral Research Associate to join the team of Professor Robin Franklin in the Franklin Laboratory at the Wellcome Trust-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute.

The post holder will join the Group of Professor Robin Franklin to undertake research to understand how age-related changes in adult CNS stem cells affect their ability to undergo regeneration following injury. This position is aimed at an experienced molecular biologist. Specialist knowledge and experience in cell culture, molecular biology, advanced histology and animal models of CNS regeneration is desirable.

Education to PhD level in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology or relevant subject is required.

Candidates will have an excellent publication record. The ability to work both as part of a team, and independently, coupled with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills is also required.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 June 2021 in the first instance.
