TWO postdoctoral cognitive neuroscientist positions are available within the Genomic Disorders and Cognitive Development programme, led by Dr Kate Baker. The programme takes an interdisciplinary approach to characterising phenotypes and understanding mechanisms in neurodevelopmental disorders of genetic origin.

Applicants should be motivated to carry out participant-centred cognitive neuroscience research, with enjoyment of working independently and as part of a team.

Further information

Applicants should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in cognitive neuroscience or related field. For both posts, experience of conducting hands-on research with children or adults is essential.

ONE post is available for a two-year period, and will focus on synaptic vesicle cycling disorders. Experience of EEG research is essential for this post.

ONE post is available for a three-year period, and will focus on comparative studies of brain structure and function in intellectual disabilities of known genetic origin. Experience of neuroimaging research (any modality) is essential for this post.
