Applications are invited for the post of Research Fellow in the Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit ( http://www.drru-research.org/ ) in the Research Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology at UCL.
This position is funded by an ESRC grant (ES/N018850/1) awarded to Prof Essi Viding. It offers the opportunity for an outstanding, high-potential, early-career researcher to make a substantial contribution to research into social reward processing in children with conduct problems. The position will be based within the Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit led by Prof Essi Viding and Prof Eamon McCrory. The post-holder will be responsible for day to day running of a research project using experimental approaches. This role will entail development of experimental paradigms, recruitment of a challenging population, testing child participants, data analysis and preparation of results for publication.
The post is available from 11th October and is funded for 7 months and six days.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject area (e.g. psychopathology, cognitive neuroscience, developmental psychology), a variety of analysis skills, excellent organizational skills, experience of managing large-scale projects, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
