Location: University Park
Salary: £30,395 to £39,609 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
Applications are invited for the above post based at the newly established Neural Computation group spanning the School of Psychology and the School of Mathematics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a research programme in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment with outstanding research facilities.
The successful candidate will work across a broad spectrum of research topics areas in Computational Neuroscience, including functional neuroimaging, neural networks, and models of cognition. Research methodologies could include numerical simulation, machine learning, theoretical neuroscience, and innovative data analysis.
Candidates must have a PhD, be able to carry out independent research, and have a strong research and publication track record.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 3 years. Hours of work are full-time, 36.25 Hours per week. Job share arrangements may be considered.
