Applications are invited for the above full-time post based within the School of Biosciences at the University of Nottingham (Sutton Bonington Campus). The post holder will provide high quality technical assistance to the principal investigator and research fellow working under a BBSRC-funded research project. The role will entail assisting with rodent surgical procedures, behavioural testing, and drug administration, as well as performing general laboratory duties.
Candidates must have a HNC in a relevant subject or equivalent qualifications plus considerable relevant technical/scientific experience or substantial work experience in a relevant technical or scientific role. Candidates should have proven laboratory experience with a range of techniques, previous experience of in vivo rodent work and a good knowledge of the relevant Home Office regulations.
