The School of Psychology is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Associate to work on a research project examining the relationship between language and perception, focusing on the mapping between spatial language (spatial demonstratives, adpositions, quantifiers) and perception of space.
The post holder will work closely with, and alongside DCOMM (“Deictic Communication, an interdisciplinary Marie Sklowdowska Curie training network coordinated by Prof Coventry).
You must hold a PhD or equivalent qualification, in cognitive psychology/cognitive neuroscience, or be nearing completion of PhD with submission within 4 months of commencement in post and award within 8 months of submission. You must be able to satisfy all the essential criteria in the person specification for this post.
The post is available on a full-time, fixed term basis from 3 June 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter, until 31 March 2020 (up to 10 months).
