The School of Psychology & Clinical Language Sciences is seeking to appoint a one or more Teaching Fellows in Neuroscience/Biological Psychology. The role holder will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, particularly in modules relating to the BPS core area of biological psychology.

The successful applicant will contribute to teaching (lectures, seminars and practical classes) and module convening primarily at undergraduate level, though possibly also at MSc level. They will be willing to innovate with respect to curriculum development (programme design, implementation and assessment) as well as project supervision.

You will have:

  • A Doctorate in Neuroscience, Biological Psychology or a closely related area, or be close to submission of your thesis
  • Good understanding of quantitative Psychology research methods
  • Experience of teaching psychology in an academic setting
  • Desire to improve the student experience
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
