Applications are invited from researchers to join the research team to work on the NIHR funded ADAM study (Alcohol Dependence and Adherence to Medications). The ADAM trial is a multi-centre, 3-arm, randomised controlled clinical trial investigating the efficacy of medication management and contingency management to help support improvements in adherence to acamprosate for alcohol relapse prevention.
The post-holder will be expected to help with participant recruitment, follow-up, assessment, data acquisition and analysis. The successful applicant will be expected to regularly travel to locations across the recruitment area.
Applicants will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline and will have previous experience in working in academic or clinical settings. The candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach, the ability to use own initiative, and well developed attention to detail.
The candidate will have an opportunity to gain additional knowledge and experience in alcohol related research.
A satisfactory DBS check is required for this post.
