Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging
John Radcliffe Hospital

An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly-motivated and flexible individual to carry out a research coordinator role in the busy and exciting Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (WIN) centre, which boasts over 250 members.

As part of a small team led by Nancy Rawlings, Centre Manager, you would take a leading role in administration and communication and provide proactive support at a high level to WIN Principal Investigators and users of the centre and facilities. You and the team are responsible for the smooth running of multiple imaging facilities across three university sites. You will assist with research administration across the centre and coordinate multiple aspects of the administration process, including centre communication and finance. This post will be part of a core team that facilitates world-class research at the centre and requires an individual with excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills.

You will hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant disciple (e.g. psychology, neuroscience or biology) and have research experience in biomedical sciences. The ability to organise your work time efficiently and handle competing priorities to deliver results to a required high standard and to deadlines is essential. Experience of finance or grant administration, as well as an interest in communicating and promoting science would prove beneficial.

The post is full-time for a fixed-term of 2 years in the first instance.

Only applications received before 12.00 midday on 11 January 2019 will be considered. Interviews will be held as soon as possible thereafter.
