External Event - 26th to 28th May 2021
The meeting will discuss exciting advances in the design, implementation and clinical translation of technology for interfacing the central and peripheral nervous systems in the context of human disease and health. The technologies will include implantable (nano)materials, bioelectronics, neuromodulation strategies, neuroprosthetics and brain–machine interfaces, and the discussions will range from concept design to proof-of-concept application to optimization for clinical uses. The aim of this virtual conference is to bring together experts in neuroscience, materials science and engineering, biomedical engineering and clinical neurology, to stimulate thinking, debate and even spur collaborations that can help advance research in neurotechnologies.
