PhD research proposal writing masterclass

Writing a PhD research proposal can be a daunting prospect, but our expert presenters - including Dr Alex Conner from the University of Birmingham - are here to help.

Join our pre-fair session at 11.15, ahead of the exhibition opening at 12:00, for a Masterclass in PhD proposal writing. The talk will increase your confidence in, and understanding of, the PhD application process, including helpful hints and tips to make sure your PhD application stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Covering the cost of your Master's degree

How much does a Master's cost? And what kind of funding might be available for it?

Join our pre-fair session at 11.15, ahead of the exhibition opening at 12:00, for a talk on covering the cost of your master's degree. The talk will cover all of the UK postgraduate loan systems, plus information on Erasmus+ loans, international funding and other sources of support such as charities and trusts.

The sessions are free to attend, but due to their popularity, we ask for a £5 deposit to guarantee your place. This will be automatically refunded to your account within 5 working days when you attend the event. If you can’t make it, that’s no problem, just let us know and we’ll still be happy to refund* your £5. You’ll be given the option to book the pre-fair sessions when you book your free ticket for the event (if there’s any space left)!

*It may take up to 5 working days for your bank to process the refund
