My research investigates how antipsychotics and 5‑HT2A‑selective antagonists alter cortical function, with a particular focus on the insular cortex. By examining both circuit‑level dynamics and single‑cell responses, I aim to clarify how these compounds shape neural processing relevant to psychiatric conditions. Ultimately, this work seeks to identify pathways that could be modulated by psychedelic‑based therapies.
