Afternoon Session

Compulsive checking is a core feature of obsessive–compulsive disorder, yet the factors that trigger or modulate this behaviour remain poorly understood. In this talk, I present findings from a rodent model examining how different forms of stress influence checking behaviour. The results reveal dissociations between different stress manipulations and checking, highlighting the complexity of how stress might influence compulsive-like behaviour.
