Brainbox: Multimodal experiments using TMS-EEG

External Event - 6th to 7th Jun 2017

This course is to be held at UCL on 6th-7th June 2017.

This course run in collaboration with neuroscientists from the Institute of Neurology at UCL aims to provide participants with hands-on practical experience and knowledge of the basic principles of rTMS / EEG, associated research techniques, experimental design and data analysis.

Participants will gain an understanding of:

  • Basic principles of TMS, EEG and TMS Navigation
  • TMS, EEG and Navigation setup
  • Basic concepts, challenges and practical solutions for TMS / EEG experimental design
  • Hands on running of TMS / EEG experiment and data acquisition
  • Data processing and review
  • Data export for analysis and review:
    • Live stream (MATLAB)
    • Off Line (TruScan Explorer, BESA Research)
  • Data import & export, review and processing techniques
  • Introduction to other NIBS techniques and their use with EEG

Fees:

  • Student - early bird = £450 +VAT
  • Student - standard = £550 +VAT
  • Non-student - early bird = £550 +VAT
  • Non-student - standard = £650 +VAT
