The EBC newsletter for January 2017 contained:
#ILoveMyBrain
EBC has created the #ILoveMyBrain logo as a communication channel for pulling together all the work being done to promote brain health in Europe. We believe that by bringing together the diverse activities all aiming to reduce the prevalence of brain disorders, the entire community can benefit.
Using a common logo, repeatedly seen in public and in the media, will help gain more attention for brain disorders (mental and neurological) from policy makers and society at large.
EBC are using Valentine's Day 2017 to launch #ILoveMyBrain to promote awareness and greater recognition of the need to love and look after our most valuable asset: our brain.
AF-related Stroke policy series workshop
EBC hosted an AF-Related Stroke Policy Series Workshop in the European Parliament in Brussels. The workshop focused on highlighting the importance of pre-screening and early detection of AF to reduce the threat of stroke. This was the first event of the #ILoveMyBrain series.
