A 4-year, fully-funded PhD Studentship is available in the lab of Dr Derek Costello at the UCD School of Biomolecular & Biomedical Science, University College Dublin. The project will investigate novel pharmacotherapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. This collaborative and multi-disciplinary project will involve cell culture and pharmacology, model organisms, behavioural analyses, in vitro electrophysiology, and a range of cellular assays.
