A full-time research assistant position is available for a highly motivated graduate to work on a programme of research in the Developmental Neuroscience research group, investigating the development of learning and decision strategies across adolescence, and the supporting brain mechanisms.
The role of the research assistant will be to oversee the day-to-day implementation of the project including the recruitment and scheduling of participants and the acquisition of behavioural and neuroimaging data, and assisting the laboratory head.
This is a full-time position, fixed-term for 6 months ending on or before 31 January 2020. The starting date is 1 July 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Candidates should have, or be close to completion of, a good first degree in a psychology or a neuroscience-related discipline. As well as excellent communication and IT skills you should be professional, well-motivated, and be able to work independently and part of a collaborative research team. Candidates with enthusiasm and commitment to research on neural development are encouraged to apply.
