The Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute (NMHRI) brings together world-class leaders in neuroscience, mental health and psychology research from Cardiff University and beyond to further the understanding and treatment of major psychiatric and neurological disorders, which represent some of the greatest challenges to society. The Institute membership is drawn broadly from the Schools of Medicine, Biosciences, Psychology and Optometry.

Working as part of the successful team delivering the objectives of the £5.2M Wellcome Trust Strategic Award, you will analyse MRI data of both human and in vivo models of copy number variants related to mental health conditions and should be able to demonstrate significant experience in this type of work.

This post is full time (35 hours per week), available immediately and is fixed term until 30th September 2019.
