We are recruiting for a Research Associate or Research Assistant in Behavioural Science to join the Behavioural Research Laboratory at Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK. The interests of the lab include cognition and emotion in strategic decision making, organizational neuroscience, entrepreneurial cognition, and work group/team cognition and dynamics.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in psychological research to pursue a program of independent research in a relevant area of applied behavioural science, work closely with behavioural research faculty and students from various areas of the School to coordinate and conduct a diverse set of research studies, and oversee the development and day-to-day operations of the Behavioural Research Laboratory. The position is perfect for a postdoctoral researcher who wants to develop their research experience in preparation for a faculty position.
Salary is in the range £27,924 to £40,927, depending on experience. Applicants for Research Associate must have a PhD in the behavioural sciences or a related area (e.g., psychology, cognitive science, cognitive or social neuroscience, experimental economics, or organisational behaviour). Applicants for Research Assistant must have a Master’s degree in the behavioural sciences or a related area. Preference will be given to those with significant experience of undertaking high quality behavioural and psychophysiological experiments (e.g., eye tracking, electrodermal activity/GSR, ECG, EEG, and/or HRV) in a relevant area. This is a full-time post, for two years, starting as soon as possible.
