Brain Buddy (BAW) - London

External Event - 13th Mar 2019

18:30

What is someone’s experience of neurosurgery? How does one recover, both physically and emotionally?

Back by popular demand, this is the second Brain Buddy talk this time examining post-surgery experiences – from the point of view of patients, their families and friends.

Neurologists John Duncan and Matthew Walker, as well as other neurosurgical staff at The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery will be on hand to answer questions. The team at Queen Square are keen to support and work in partnership with patients and their families.

Individuals, families and friends of those who are considering surgery and those who have already experienced are welcomed. The aim is to show the impact and reality of a life changing experience – the good, the bad and the in-between.
