Come along to a day of FREE family fun at the University of Exeter! Brain Awareness Week will have a stall at the event filled with fun activities for all.
Saturday 17 March 10.30am-2.30pm.
Following the success of our last community event, we are welcoming everyone onto our Streatham Campus for another day packed full of free activities for all ages.
Entry is free. Car parking is free. No need to book :-)
There will be different zones to explore on the day, each with loads of activities – here’s just a taster of what we have planned:
Face painting
Crazy science experiments to have a go at
Bouncy castle
Street food stands
Appearance by Rugby Premiership Champions Exeter Chiefs’
Orchestra workshop with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra
Graduate for a day photo opp
Try on a police uniform
Take a look around a fire engine
Choirs and street music
Northcote Theatre – props and costumes photo opp
Plus loads of sport activities to get involved in, including:
• Touch rugby
• Cheerleading
• Tennis
• Cricket
• Table tennis
• Ultimate Frisbee
• Badminton
• Football
There will also be a chance to find out more about the research we do across the University and the positive impact this has on local communities, across the region and beyond.
