Dementia is the biggest health challenge of our century. To date there is no way to prevent it or even slow its progression, and there is an urgent need to fill the knowledge gap in our basic understanding of the diseases that cause it. The UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) is the biggest UK initiative driving forward research to fill this gap. The UK DRI Care Research and Technology at Imperial has been established to address a medical research area of highest importance and future impact as one of seven new national centres of excellence embedded in major UK universities. Together the centres will transform the diagnosis, treatment and care of people with dementia.  The MRC, alongside charity partners Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer's Research UK, have invested £250m in fulfilment of the ambition identified in the Prime Minister's 2020 Challenge on Dementia.

The UK DRI Care Research and Technology Centre (CR&T) are looking for a motivated, engaged, enthusiastic Administrator to join the team at the UK DRI Care Research and Technology Centre at Imperial College London and the University of Surrey. You will be based in White City at Imperial College London and will support a passionate and enthusiastic team. They use technology to help prevent hospital admission for people with dementia. Their aim is to help ensure people with dementia can live, with a good quality of life, in their own homes for as long as possible.

They are recruiting an Administrator to provide high-quality, effective administrative support to help them achieve this mission.
