A postdoctoral cognitive neuroscientist (research associate) position is available within the Genomic Disorders and Cognitive Development programme, led by Dr Kate Baker. The programme aims to contribute to better post-diagnostic care for individuals with intellectual disabilities of known genetic origin. We apply multiple methods to characterise neurodevelopmental phenotypes and investigate mechanisms, working in collaboration with basic neuroscientists and clinicians. Applicants should be motivated to carry out participant-centred research, with enjoyment of working independently and as part of a team. The role will involve study design, participant recruitment, data acquisition, data analysis and writing for publication. The research associate will contribute to ongoing work within the programme, and have the opportunity to lead their own project.
