The Imaging Research Center and Dynamic Memory Lab at UC Davis (Co-PIs: J. Daniel Ragland, Charan Ranganath) are seeking a postdoctoral researcher for an NIMH-funded project investigating the impact of schizophrenia on neural systems involved in learning and memory. The project involves a combination of behavioral and cognitive assessments, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), and electroencephalography (EEG). The Dynamic Memory Lab is located in the Center for Neuroscience in Davis, CA, and data collection will occur at the nearby Imaging Research Center in the Department of Psychiatry in Sacramento, CA. This center houses a research dedicated 3T Siemens Tim Trio scanner, and an adjoining electrophysiology laboratory.

Requirements for the position include: a Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience or a related field; experience with cognitive neuroscience methods (especially fMRI or EEG), and demonstrated skills in one or more programming language (e.g., Matlab, Python) and image processing software (FSL, LC Model, NeuroScan). The successful applicant will have an interest in translating basic cognitive neuroscience methods to clinical research questions, and will have a promising research publication record. The start date is flexible, but will ideally begin in the summer of 2017. Salary is based on the NIH payscale.

To apply, please send a cover letter and CV describing your research experience, interests, and qualifications to Dr. J. Daniel Ragland, jdragland@ucdavis.edu. For more information about our labs, please see: http://ucdirc.ucdavis.edu/ and http://dml.ucdavis.edu/.
